I TOTALLY forgot this existed for absolutely ages! Apologies for that folks.
A lot has changed since I last came on here. I'm now living off the land in Rothersthorpe, off grid, no tv, no...anything! Well, a few home comforts that I've acquired since moving here, but not much. I'm currently sitting in a shed (the only place here where there's electricity) pretty much on top of an electric heater. It's so cold in here that there's ice in my bottle of coke!!!
I'm working in a scrapyard...don't know if I've posted about that job already, but I've been there for nearly a year and a half. It's a pretty good job, I basically get paid to be a cunt to people!!! Perfect!!! Although it is a 5 mile bike ride to work, which sucks somewhat, especially when it's as cold as this!
Tearslicky are no more. We ended in a most disappointingly un-spectacular way! We just stopped rehearsing cos we all suddenly had these crazy things often referred to as "responsibilities" and just never went back! It sometimes makes me sad...but it's ok, cos I'm in another band now. We're called Seventyfirst Sin. It's pretty cool stuff, a bit mroe commercial than what we did in Tearslicky, but still with the capacity to be UBER-METAL due to my presence!! Hehe. When I first joined the band they were called Last Stop China Town, which is a rubbish name and sounds pretty emo, so obviously with my metalness being injected into things, the name had to be changed to something more suitable!
Erm...not sure what else to put really. There's so much I could say that I just don't know where to start! Think I'll leave it there for now. Gonna go back to our lovely woodburner now :) |

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH NORTHAMPTON'S DRUMMERS???
Virtually every local band I've heard recently has had at least one point where they "play a fast bit"...but the drummers have no idea! I mean, yes, blast beats can be quite hard, and I'm not expecting to find the new Gene Hoglan, but if you're going to attempt blast beats at least try to do them properly!

Ooops, that's another 2 months gone with no update, nevermind eh!?
We're in the new house, in all honesty...I'm not happy here. But then I'm not supposed to be, it's a stepping stone to getting our own place, which is gonna be very soon! We're gonna be moving into our friend Dawn's house sometime in the beginning of next year, we went to look at it and generally visit on sunday and it's beautiful. Now we just need to wait for Dawn and Ant to get their caravan so they can move out.
Band stuff...is shit! No one really seems bothered about it anymore, so fuck it, why should I bother? Think I'll just start something new.
I've spent the past couple of days either in bed or puking. I haven't had a stomach bug for years and I forgot how much it hurts...I also forgot how many different colours you got in sick, and I must admit to laughing mid vom when it went from mars milk coloured to yellow, then green and then black in one long painful yet highly amusing stream!
That's all for now, my head hurts...can't believe I have to work tomorrow...feel like shit! |

Hello! I know I know, it's been fucking ages! I've been busy. We went to greece for 2 weeks which was absolutely wonderful! Generally spent our time swimming, laying on the beach and getting really pissed! So yes, that was great. We got home and tried to switch the pc on and it refused to co-operate so we've bought a new one! It's shiny and lovely and it works! Woo! I've also bought a new guitar...haven't got it yet, paid for it today and it should be arriving either tomorrow or saturday. It looks like this...
I've wanted one of these for about 5 years!
I've given up on buying a new bike for a while, when I get one I want it to be a really good one so I'm gonna spend some time saving and see what I end up with for the summer.
Kwizxi and I will be moving house again soon, we're moving to a cheaper shared house (£150 a month!!!) so that we can save up for our own place.
Today I finally managed to officially change my name too, which is something I've wanted to do since I was 16.
Lots of business and general "getting stuff done" has occurred and I'm really really happy! Next thing to sort is the guildhall and the rollrights so we can get married :D |

Well, I suppose it's time I did a proper update...problem is I don't know where to start, many things have occurred since my last update thingamy!
Ok, first off - next may KWIZXI AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!! Heehee, I'm so happy it's silly! We'll be doing the registry office thing to make it legal then the following day we'll be having a handfasting at the rollright stones...
Which leads me nicely onto the next subject...well, kind of..
The past few weeks have been wonderful, I had 2 weeks off of work, and in the first weekend me and Bob cycled to santa pod and stayed there in a tent for a couple of days to keep Kwizxi company while she worked on a food van thing...unfortunately she did so much work I hardly got to see her and when I did see her she was utterly knackered! But me and bob generally had some marvellous adventures including being inside a tent during the biggest storm I've ever seen! Twas scary, but utterly fucking cool! Anyway, yes, so that was great, then the following weekend was Kwizxi's birthday, we went to retribution in Leicester which was great apart from when it started making me pissed off with the local music scene..got hom from there at about 5.30..slept..then woke up at about 9 to go to the NP forum picnic at Salcey Forest...now this is where it connects to the last bit...sort of..the whole day was really nice despite my hangover, being among the trees and all these wonderful, passionate people (including bob again...hehe, aaaaaaawwwwwwww ;) ) I kept just drifting off somewhere in my head and I realised I'm completely at peace with who I am. Of course I'll always be trying to improve myself and make things better for those I care about, but that's what life's all about, but even if things stayd as they ar, I'd be happy! I'm proud of who I am, the things I've achieved, and all the amazing people that are in my life!
This month has been full of spiritual awakenings. I've become a little more sensitive to ghosts, and a few days ago I suddenly found my guide! She'd been here all along, waiting for me to be ready...I'm not sure where this will lead, I'm excited to find out but over thepast year I've realised that you can't hurry these things, so I'm just going with the flow so to speak. The next thing I ned to do though is master meditation, I've tried many times before but often my ADD kicks in an I start thinking about ice cream or biscuits...mmm...biscuits..where was I? Ah yes, Kwizxi said she know's a good meditation that she could guide me through..unfortunately she's currently crippled with cold of doom so it's gonna have to wait til she gets better.
Anyway, the sky at night is on so I'm gonna stop babbling and watch that. |

Well, my first proper update in months! And I'll start by saying AAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!! FUCKING KEYBOARD!!!
Sorry, the space bar is unhappy so it's taking ages to type anything.
Not a lot's been going on really, I'm still exceedingly happy! Gav's moved out now so we're all doing a room swap thing and Lil will be moving in here at the beginning of June, which will be cool! And we get a bigger room too! We're gonna decorate it, we found the prettiest paint ever, it's purple but kinda metallic-pearlescent type jobby, so very pretty!!! So yeah, that's that bit...erm..I think we've found a drummer (did I mention we now permanently have ginga bob as our 2nd guitarist?)...his name's Kyle and he plays drums for Bob's other band. I saw them do a gig a little while ago and he seemed pretty good-faster and more precise double kick than me, which is always good! Just gotta spend hours teaching him stuff then hopefully storm the universe!!!
Devin Townsend and his misses Tracy are expecting a baby!!! Anyone that's heard Dev's new album will probably have guessed things were going that way but it's cool to have it confirmed! Apparently Trazcy's having trouble convincing Dev that Gollum is not a good baby name! Haha.
Eeep, is that the time!? I have to go back to work now.
On saturday Kwizxi and I will have been together for a whole year!!! It's gone so quickly and yet I feel like I've been with her forever!

Ok..this house is SO fucking haunted! I will have mentioned to a few of you about some of the weirdness that goes on here, but tonight..well, the past few weeks..recently we've discovered that there's 5 people here, one girl who hung herself from the banister, and an old man named william who keeps warning us to be careful of the others...not sure about the others yet, but I think one of them is an old woman...what I really want to know about though is what's in the cellar! A few of us have seen them now, when you open the cellar door there's a skittering in the shadows and you get an impression of articulated legs..(if you've read Silk by Caitlin R Kiernan you'll know exactly what I mean!)..and the cobwebs in the cellar..every time you go down there they look different, almost like there's new paths being carved through them all the time but not in a clumsy "human passing through cobwebs" way..it's quite deliberate...anyway, yes, the experiment! I set up the 8 track in the kitchen, and trailed a microphone down into the cellar..it's currently recording at high gain..hopefully..well, I say hopefully..I'm not so sure..but yeah, hopefully we'll pick up some stuff. Worst thing was when I took the mike down there, just as I was coming back up the stairs again I kinda got enveloped by a sound like a huge fan! I ran pretty fucking fast up the rest of the stairs! Heh, I think I swore quite a bit too!
Anyway, I doubt I'll be able to but I think I'm gonna try n sleep. Nighty night |

OH god! How long has it been? I'm scared to check...but...HELLO!!! I'm back on the net (stoopid pc!)
Hmm, what's happened?...many things really..I'm poor, I need a new job, I spent some of last weekend in hospital with a fucked kidney...and everything's great!!!
About a month ago we (the band) played 2 of the best gigs we've ever done! And now Bob (our knight in ginger armour) is a permanent member of Tearslicky, so now all we need is a drummer..and to get kwizxi all trained up on keyboardyness and we'll be complete! Have any good drummers popped up while I've been hiding?
I bought a bicycle! Actually, I can't remember if I've already said about that..ah well, I'll say it again! I love cycling! It's awesome! I just wish there were more woody type places to ride round.
ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!!!! SILENT HILL!!! Oh god!!! Saw a proper version of the trailer yesterday...I haven't been this excited about a film since Terminator 3!!! *bounces* eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Ok..update time! I know it's been ages, but I've been busy!
2 gigs coming up!
monday 20th february at yates' bar!!! We're headlining with Spiral Dive supporting (who are rather good..neither emo, nor metalcore..and not even punk! Woo!) Entry is free, first band is on at 8ish I think and we'll be playing our newest song - White Noise, which is totally unlike anything else we've written!
saturday 25th february at the racehorse!!! Entry is £5 on the door, or you can buy tickets from me for £4. It's organised by UK unsigned who so far seem like a shit organisation to gig for, but hey, it's a gig! Also playing are Kerb Grinder, Isaiah, Six Round Clip, Litmus, My So Called Life, Rotten Agenda and Maya Deren. Doors open at 6..No idea what time we'll be on cos the order is sorted on the day depending on which bands have sold the most tickets, so BUY TICKETS FROM ME DAGNAMMIT!!!
Our 2nd guitarist for both gigs will be ginger Bob, who is kindly heping us out til we find a permanent replacement for Darryl..unless we can convince him to stay, which would be ideal cos he already knows most of our stuff from last time he played with us.
On saturday I bought myself a bicycle! It's great! I've wanted one for ages and I'm getting totally addicted to riding again! I used to ride everywhere up until about 5 years ago when I had my fancy bike stolen..didn't realise how much I missed it til I was sat at work on saturday with my bike beside me begging to be ridden!
I also bought Devy's new album-Synchestra. It's fucking amazing! The ultimate feel good album, with many undertones of total insanity! And Dev's voice has got loads better too! I didn't think it COULD get better, but it really blew me away!

Well, 2005 is over..I've done so much growing in a lot of ways - musically, mentally, and in my general life attitude...and I know I'm coming out of 2005 a better person..but I'm sad to see it go. I have hit some really low points over the year, but I've bounced back to the highest points I've ever reached! I've fallen deeper in love than I could have imagined with someone who never fails to surprise me with how beautiful, caring, affectionate and generally amazing she is..I've played some of the most amazing gigs in my life...and somehow I managed to stay in the same job (despite hating it) from the beginning of the year right through to now...and I'm proud of myself. Obviously they're not the only things I've done, but they're the main things that stand out..anyway, now it's 2006 (duh!) and I can't imagine a way that the events of this year can improve on what happened last year..but I know somehow they will, and I can't wait to see what kind of adventures I will have had this time next year!!
One thing that I know is happening is my first holiday abroad. Kwizxi booked it yesterday..just the two of us, going to Tsilivi (Zante-Greece) and I really can't wait! Unfortunately I HAVE to wait..cos it's in October..but at least that gives me plenty of time to get my passport sorted.
So yes..I'm gonna stop babbling now, my soup's getting cold and Kwizxi wants to play Star Wars: Battlefront 2 with me (how cool is that!? :D )
